Beach Engagement Session at Sunset
Irvine Beach
Rachael & Connor
I had such a fun evening with these two! After several re-schedules due to the weather, we finally made it to the beach and got lucky with an incredible sunset. We got completely drenched a short while later but the rain held off long enough for us to get some amazing photos.
I really couldn't have asked for a nicer couple to photograph. Rachael and Connor were both totally cool with me dragging them up and down the sand dunes looking for the best photo locations. It was quite a workout and we definitely burned a fair few calories. Walking up steep sand dunes is much harder than it looks!
I always recommend arranging an engagement session if possible (especially if you are a bit nervous) as it's a great way to warm up in front of the camera and get used to having your photo taken - we can also get to know each other a bit better too. It was a lot of fun spending time with Rachael & Connor and I was able to learn more about them as a couple and how they met. I'm even more excited to photograph their wedding next year now.
My photography is about capturing natural, candid moments rather than anything too forced or posed. I do have some basic prompts that I use but most of the session focuses on you and your partner walking around, hand in hand, spending time together.
The best images tend to come about when you forget that I'm even there and you can just be yourselves and have fun!
I'm currently offering a discount on my engagement sessions over the winter so if you and your partner would like to arrange something similar then please click the button below to get in touch.
