Outdoor wedding at murrayshall country estate

Alison & Sam had an outdoor ceremony at Murrayshall Country Estate on 2nd June 2023, a beautiful wedding venue in the Perthshire countryside.

The weather was perfect and it turned out to be a nice warm day so the wonderful staff at Murrayshall were able to set up for an outdoor ceremony in the secret garden.

Alison spent the morning getting ready with her bridesmaids at her dad's house nearby. It was a chilled-out and relaxed morning and I was able to capture some great images of everyone enjoying themselves.

The ceremony itself was a short and simple humanist service with a reading from Sam's dad and a drink from a quaich at the end. We then had everyone walk around to the front of the venue and line up along both sides of the red carpet as Alison and Sam emerged last to a shower of confetti!

For the couple's photos, we went for a short walk around the grounds at Murrayshall, behind the secret garden there are some great spots. We also managed to sneak back out after dinner to take advantage of an amazing sunset. I was able to capture some great shots of Alison and Sam with the sun going down over the golf course in the background and I'm really happy with how they turned out!

This is the second time I've been at Murrayshall and the building and surrounding grounds are stunning. If you're lucky enough to have your wedding here and also manage to get a nice sunset then you're guaranteed to get some incredible photos.

The end of the day was spent on the dancefloor with all the guests dancing the night away with the amazing Skyline band banging out some incredible tunes.

I'm so thankful to have been a part of Alison & Sam's special day and to be able to capture all these wonderful memories for them.
