Engagement Session
Muirshiel Country Park
Kirstie & Ross
A super stylish couple who were warm and friendly and so easygoing. They brought their wee dog, Pablo, along too and we managed to get a few shots with him included, although he was more interested in following me about Muirshiel than actually being in any pictures!
Like a lot of couples right now, these guys aren't getting married for a couple of years but they wanted to have a practice run of what it would be like to have their photo's taken professionally.
I always recommend arranging an engagement session if possible (especially if you are a bit nervous) as it's a great way to warm up in front of the camera and get used to having your photo taken.
These guys were so happy with their engagement shoot photos that they decided to book me for their wedding day, which I am delighted with. It's always such a great feeling when a couple likes my work and trusts me enough to ask me to photograph one of the most important days of their lives. It really does mean a lot!
My photography is about capturing natural, candid moments rather than anything too forced or posed. I do have some basic poses that I go through but most of the session focuses on you and your partner walking around, hand in hand, spending time together.
The best images tend to come about when you forget that I'm even there and you can just be yourselves and have fun!
Check out some of the images from this session below.
If you and your partner would like to arrange something similar then please feel free to get in touch!
