Stunning wedding at Enterkine house hotel

Jenna & Liam tied the knot at Enterkine House Hotel on the 10th of August 2023, a stunning and unique luxury wedding venue in Ayrshire.

This was an incredibly fun wedding! I arrived at Enterkine House around 11 am and met Jenna and her bridal party in The Byre cottage, one of many available accommodations. It's a really nice converted cottage that the girls used as a place to get ready in the morning. There are also some woodland lodges nearby which Liam and his best man used to get themselves ready. I was able to jump between the two locations and spend time with both the bride and the groom before the ceremony which is always nice.

The boys were ready well before the girls so they spent some time in the whisky room with the rest of the groomsmen, Liam's dad and Jenna's dad too. It's a cool place to hang out and have a drink or two before the ceremony! I was also able to capture some photos of the guys exchanging gifts and putting on their buttonholes.

Back with the girls, once everyone was dressed, we did a reveal shot of Jenna's dad seeing her in her dress for the first time before heading up to the main venue for the ceremony.

The ceremony took place in the glass pavilion, a huge space with a beautiful oak frame and large windows looking out over the Ayrshire countryside. It's ideal for a ceremony as there is so much light flooding in and tons of space to move around.

Afterward, we had everyone line up on the balcony outside for the confetti throw. I've said this many times before, but I love a confetti shot! The more confetti the better, the photos are guaranteed to look amazing.

For the couples shoot, we went out to the front of the venue, using the small pond and wooden jetty area as a backdrop. We also went for a walk down the tree-lined road that leads up to the main entrance. Jenna and Liam were both really relaxed in front of the camera and I'm happy with how the photos turned out.

Later on in the evening, after the meal but before the evening reception, Jenna and Liam organised a photo dash. I'd never heard of this before but it's such an amazing idea and I'm definitely going to be recommending it to future couples! Basically, it's a really fun and quick way for the couple to get a photo with everyone at the wedding. The DJ plays a song and you have until that song is finished to get everyone up on the dance floor for a photo. Guests from each table run and pose beside Jenna and Liam whilst I grab a photo. Then the next table goes up, and so on. It was absolute mayhem but so much fun!

The remainder of the evening was spent on the dance floor and that was me until around 9 pm when I packed up to head home.
